Rowan class have started their hockey unit in PE They are learning how to hold the hockeys sticks correctly and how to dribble and push pass. They'll be ready for high school tournaments in no time

This afternoon, our artists in Horse Chestnut class took a close look at the shapes and lines of their own hands and then built on those drawings with beautiful flowers, playful animals and bright love hearts. It was wonderful to watch their ideas grow

Oak Class had a super afternoon mark making and experimenting with charcoal, chalk and pastels. They worked in pairs trying out different techniques and got extremely messy but it was good fun! These techniques will be used when creating their cave art linked to our Stone Age topic.

Who's been camping at Lever House? LKS2 have discovered a makeshift camp in our forest school and have been trying to use the clues to figure out who it is? A few children think it may be Stig?

Horse Chestnut Class kicked off their new history topic, Exciting Explorers, with an adventure to our new forest school area! There, they followed clues that led them to three famous explorers and uncovered some fascinating artefacts that real explorers might use on their journeys.

What an incredible day Y4 had at the Winter Gardens! We went behind the scenes at the Betfred World Matchplay, learned how to play darts, had fun competing and even got to meet darts pro Jermaine Wattimena! A brilliant end to the school year. What a perfect day for a campfire ! Our EYFS children had a fantastic time exploring our new Forest School area, where they experienced the magic of making and tasting popcorn cooked over their very own campfire. They had so much fun- especially when it came to tasting the freshly popped popcorn
